Make a cool statement with this pair of antique eyewear!
These glasses were made during the 1920s. They are made of steel, wire, and glass, and were originally produced as protective eyewear for workmen and cyclists.
The clear circular lenses are non-prescription and have little to no scratching! The lenses are set into wire frames that have steel mesh guards on the outer sides. There is a tiny makers mark on the top of the lenses that reads “HWM”. The original nose grips are still intact as well.
The mesh guards fold in, making these glasses completely collapsable. The ear shafts are made of flexible wire with rubber covering, and also fold in to create a nice compact set of eyewear that can easily fit into a case or pocket.
Measurements are as follows:
Brim- 5 inches across the top.
Ear shaft- 4.5 inches long.
Lenses- 2 inches across.
These would kick your daily look up a notch, or could even be used for a steampunk cosplay look! They could also make a great gift for a motorcycle enthusiast in your life!
Aside from some very minor signs of age, these glasses are in excellent vintage condition. They are not rusted or scratched up, and they were stored in a smoke-free environment.
