This fabulous beaded tote is the perfect functional accessory for your daily life!
The purse was made during the 1960s and is very nicely constructed. You can see the quality in the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the beadwork.
The beadwork is truly the star of this piece! The outer body of the bag is decorated with rectangular red and black wooden tiles with small spherical white plastic beads separating them. The arrangement of the tile beads is quite striking and absolutely gorgeous to look at!
The strap handles are made up of the same small white sphere beads and are quite sturdy. The straps hang approximately 9 inches long.
The purse zips open to reveal an immaculate black cotton lining. The bag is very structured and stands up nicely on its own. The base of the bag is oval in shape and has a quilted stitching design on the bottom. The base of the bag measures 11 inches by 7 inches.
The body of the bag measures 12 inches wide, by 10 inches tall, and about 6 inches deep. There is plenty of room for all of the daily purse essentials, and more! If you are someone that carries your life around in your bag, then this is the purse for you!
This accessory is in excellent vintage condition! There are no stains, rips, or missing beads, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
