Add a bit of Western flare to your look with this perfectly distressed leather saddle bag!
This bag was hand made during the 1940s. It is constructed from genuine leather with silver-tone metal hardware.
The body of this bag is rectangular in shape, measuring 13 inches long, by 10 inches wide, and 2 inches deep.
The suede leather is a deep, rich brown color that contrasts nicely against the silver studs and rivets that decorate the edges of the bag. The bag opens up with a flap at the top that is secured by a metal turnkey clasp. The leather on the inside of the bag is smooth and clean, and is large enough to hold all of the daily essentials, and then some!
The leather strap has decorative rivets throughout the length of the strap. These rivets not only look cool, but they help protect the integrity of the leather strap during heavy use by making it more durable. The strap is adjustable in length with a square silver-tone buckle. The strap on it’s longest setting measures 20 inches long.
Please note that this item does show some wear on the leather, but it is very well made and still in great functioning condition. The distressing of the leather gives this bag great character! It would look fantastic paired with a variety of different textiles and garments. Wear it with your favorite jeans and bohemian top, and then you can use it as part of a steampunk or western costume accessory!
Over all this item is in great vintage condition. There are no rips or tears, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
