Embrace your spooky side in this fabulous vintage dress!
This little black dress was made during the 1960s. It is constructed primarily from a medium-weight non-stretch polyester fabric. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit modern US women’s sizes 4-6. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
This dress combines a fun mod silhouette with gothic details to create a unique look that is wearable for daily life, but perfect for a costume! The cream lace details on the neckline, bib, and sleeve cuffs make for a great Wednesday Adams, pilgrim, or doll costume There is also a little black tie at the neck that adds extra cuteness. It would look amazing paired with thigh high stockings and mary janes!
The dress is fitted throughout the bust with darts, and flares out a bit to create a shift style silhouette. The garment closes up the back with a 22 inch metal zipper with hook and eye.
Please note that there are some signs of age. Discoloration due to sun damage can be found along the top of the shoulder, side seam, and one spot at the bottom front hem area. There are also a couple brown spots on the lace bib. All of these areas can be seen in the photos, and add a creepy aged look to the dress that is perfect for a costume. There are no holes, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
