1970s Wiggle Worm Apple Signed Pendant Necklace on Long Brass Chain

The necklace was made during the 1970s. It is a copywrited design by “J.J” and is constructed from high quality costume materials.

The apple pendant is truly the star of this piece! Peeking out from a hole in the shiny red apple is a little brown bookworm! The worm is on mechanism that allows it to move and jiggle back and forth as the pendant moves about. It is very fun to play with and is sure to mesmerize young kids.

The apple is made of metal and ceramic with painted enamel. The colors are very vibrant, and there is a little green leaf attached to the stem of the apple that adds an extra pop of color. The pendant measures 1.25 inches wide by 1.25 inches long.

The apple pendant is strung onto a long chain that measures 36 inches long in total length. The chain is new but it has an antique finish to it, giving off a great vintage vibe. The chain closes in the back with a simple alligator clasp, but the necklace could easily just be slipped over the head without having to fuss with the clasp at all.

The pendant shows a few signs of age, but over all this piece is in very good vintage condition and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
