1960s Mustard Leather and Suede Blocked Western Duster Jacket size S

This fabulous vintage jacket is the perfect addition to your Autumn wardrobe!

The jacket was made in the USA, in Hamstead, New York. It is constructed from genuine leather with a rayon lining. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit a modern US women’s size 6. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

The color of the leather on this garment is absolutely stunning in person! A rich mustard leather contrasts nicely against the goldenrod hue of the suede. The leather and suede are carefully blocked throughout the jacket to create a very visually interesting piece.

The jacket has an oversized collar and buttons up the front with leather covered buttons. The auburn colored lining is made of rayon and is in excellent shape.
Southwestern inspired design details can be seen throughout the garment, such as the yoke on the back, the peaked details on the front hip pockets, and the stitching along the back yoke.

This jacket is fitted through the bust and waist and is very flattering on the female form. It would look great paired with your favorite jeans for daily life, and could even be used as part of a costume for film or tv!

Please note that the leather peaks on the pockets have curled slightly with time, but could be pressed with a little TLC. There is also a tiny black mark on one of the collar lapels (see close-up photo) but it is not very noticeable at all. Over all this jacket is in excellent vintage condition, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
