1970s Porcelain Painted Brunette Victorian Lady Cameo Brooch with Antiqued Filigree Setting

This piece was made during the early 1970s. It is made of brass and porcelain and was painted by hand.

The cameo depicts a beautiful painted victorian lady with brown hair and dark eyes that look right into your soul! She is wearing a deep burgundy dress and a choker necklace. She is painted on a smooth piece of white porcelain, which rests in a brass setting that has an antique bronze finish. The setting has some lovely filigree details with hatching and flowers.

The brooch measures approximately 1.5 inches tall, by 1 inch wide. The brooch clasps in the back with a simple locking pin clasp. It would look fantastic pinned to a velvet blouse or blazer, or could double as part of a costume as well!

Please note that there is some very slight crazing of the porcelain, but it is hardly noticeable. Over all this item is in very good vintage condition, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
