Vintage Amber and Sterling Silver Stamped Southwestern Necklace on long Chain

This unique piece of jewelry was likely made during the 1990s. The pendant is made of genuine amber and sterling silver. The chain is included and is also made of sterling silver.

The pendant has a very visually interesting organic shape, like a smooth, rounded diamond shape. The shiny golden amber has pronounced flecks throughout the entire stone.

The amber stone rests in a sterling silver setting that is stamped on the back side. The setting has southwestern floral design elements to it, such as folded leaves at the bottom. The leaves also help the pendant balance so it always positioned upright. The pendant measures 2 and 1/4 inches long, by 1 and 3/4 inches wide.

The chain measures 24 inches in total length. It has a simple alligator style clasp and is adjustable in length by about inches. The silver chain is a slightly brighter shade of silver because it is new, but it still looks great with the vintage pendant and could always be switched out if desired.

This item is in very good vintage condition. It shows little signs of wear and was stored in a smoke-free environment.
