1980s Gold Lock and Key Heart Pendant Chain Statement Necklace

This statement necklace was made during the 1980s and is constructed from high quality costume jewelry materials.
You can feel the quality in the heavy weight of this piece. The striking gold pendant designs hosts the “key to my heart” with a keyhole heart lock and the skeleton style key to go with it. The pendant itself has great texture and detail. The pendant alone measures 3 inches tall, by 1.5 inches wide.
The pendant rests on a nice thick chain that measures a total length of inches long. The chain closes in the back with an interlocking clasp, however the chain could slip over the head without having to fuss with the clasp.
Please note that there are some small areas of patina on the pendant (see close-up photos). Over all this item is in great vintage condition, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
