1980s “After Taxes” Hinged Gold Flapper Brooch with Rhinestone

This stamped piece was made during the 1980s. It is made from high quality costume materials and is stamped “AJC”.
This classy gold-tone flapper lady walks into the tax office wearing a fur coat and a rhinestones, and when she leaves she is wearing nothing but a barrel!
You can see tons of great texture throughout this piece. The fur coat, the barrel, and the lady herself are very detailed. The hinged coat opens to reveal her wearing a barrel that says “After Taxes”. This would make an excellent gift for the finance or tax professional in your life!
The back of the brooch has a simple spring loop clasp that is easy to fasten. The brooch lies nice and flat against the body and is not so heavy that it will weigh down the fabric of your clothing. When closed the brooch measures 3 inches long, by 1.5 inches wide.
This interactive piece of jewelry is in excellent vintage condition. There are no missing stones, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
