1960s Orange Mod Thelma Cord Sleeveless Belted Button Front Dress with Pockets size M/L
Add a pop of color to your next look with this groovy vintage dress!
This dress was made by “Country Miss” during the 1960s. It is made from a medium-weight corded polyester that has a good amount of stretch to it. It is marked as a size 14, but would best fit modern women’s US sizes 8-10. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
The dress has a shift style silhouette and closes up the front with 9 gold-trimmed orange lucite buttons. There are darts at the bust for a flattering fit, and the detachable belt accentuates the waistline. The belt has a square gold-tone brass buckle, and it best fits waste sizes 30-32 inches. There are also two functional pockets at the front hip!
This would make for a fun and comfortable piece for daily life, or could also be used as a costume! (Mad Men, Thelma from Scooby-Doo...you name it!)
Please note that the inside of the belt shows it’s age a little, but it is not noticeable at all when being worn, and is still totally wearable (see photos). Over all this garment is in excellent vintage condition! There are no stains or piling, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
