Ahoy sailor! This adorable vintage skirt is perfect for a day on deck!
This skirt was made during the 1970s. It is constructed from a medium weight cotton polyester woven fabric. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit modern women’s US sizes 4-6. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
This lovely skirt wraps around the natural waist and secures by tying the navy blue belt. The blue trim weaves through a small hole at the hip and the tightness can be adjusted slightly for a comfortable fit. The navy blue trim borders the hemline as well, tying the whole look together.
The best part about this garment is the little embroidered nautical appliqué at the bottom right of the skirt! A red, white, and blue sailboat with a red striped sails floats along the hem, accompanied by the waves and gulls.
This skirt would look fantastic paired with a crisp white blouse, or striped tank and espadrilles!
This garment is in excellent vintage condition. There are no stains or rips, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
