1960s Copper Bell Roadrunner Southwestern Pendant Necklace on Long Chain

Now here’s a vintage necklace that will never go out of style!

This piece was made in the USA by Copper Bell during the 1960s. It is made of solid copper, and rests on a long rose gold chain.

Copper Bell was a company located along the legendary Route 66. They were known for creating their signature Southwestern jewelry designs from Sterling Silver and Copper, and were in business from the 1930s through the 1980s.

The pendant is truly the star of this piece! The pendant measures 2 and 5/8 inches across, and features a roadrunner speeding across a desert landscape. The natural patina on the pendant helps to highlight the great texture and detail to the design. In addition to the striking bird, you will find cacti, clouds, and grasses in the background. The back side of the pendant is stamped “Copper Bell”.

The pendant rests on a long rose gold chain that measures a total length of 29 inches long. There is no clasp, the necklace can easily be slipped on over the head.

This necklace would look fantastic paired with maxi dresses, or a peasant blouse and your favorite jeans! It is in excellent vintage condition, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
