Turn heads in this stunning vintage cheongsam dress!
This dress was made in China during the 1970s by “Esme”. It is made of 100% silk and has little stretch. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit a modern women’s US size 8. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
The beautiful print on the silk fabric consists of trees, cherry blossoms, and little villagers against a vibrant red background. There are roped trim details around the hem, armholes, and neckline. The dress has a mandarin collar that opens and closes with a series of 6 snaps and 3 functioning toggles (the rest of the toggles are for looks).
The dress also closes up the side waist with an 11 inch zipper. The skirt is slitted to make movement easier, and it gives you the ability to show off some leg! This dress would be perfect for date night, or would make an excellent costume for theater or film!
Please note that one of the snaps is starting to detach. The dress is still wearable as-is, and this small imperfection could be fixed with a simple DIY stitch. Over all this garment is in good vintage condition. There are no rips, stains, or piling, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
