This double-sided Bavarian piece was likely made in Germany during the early 1900s. It is made of hand painted porcelain, and it rests on a modern gold-tone chain.
The pendant is has some truly exquisite details, such as the unique shape and swirly Victorian design elements. One side of the pendant has a pretty painted lady with dark curly locks, and the reverse side has an assortment of colorful flowers.
The pendant measures approximately 2.5 inches long, by 1.5 inches wide. The total length of the chain is 29 inches long. The chain does not have a clasp, it is long enough that you can simply put it on over your head. The pendant could easily be added to a different chain if desired.
This special piece shows little signs of wear and is in excellent vintage condition. It would make a lovely gift, it’s wearable for every day life, and could also be part of a time period costume for a film production!
