1930s Old Hollywood Burgundy Velvet Robe with Silk Lining size S/M

Channel that classic Old Hollywood glamour in this fabulous velvet robe!

This garment was made during the late 1930s. It is constructed from luxurious velvet and silk. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit modern women’s US sizes 6-8. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

This beautifully designed robe is made even more luxurious by the rich burgundy velvet and bias drape. Rouched batwing sleeves allow for easy movement in the arms and shoulders, and they also create a striking and dramatic silhouette! The robe secures with a large velvet covered button at the side waist, and there is another at the collar. There are two long velvet ties at the neckline as well.

The inside of the robe is lined with a pretty pink silk. There are ties on the inside to help keep the robe closed and fitted. There’s even a generous-sized hidden pocket in the lining too!

Please note that this item does show a few signs of age. There is some discoloration throughout the lining. There are also some stitching repairs that have been done on both shoulders, however the stitches blend in nicely with the rouching details so they are not that noticeable. Over all this item is in good vintage condition and it has a lot of life left in it! There are no holes, exterior stains, or piling, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
