This hat was Union Made in the USA during the 1960s by Deluxe Velour, Merrimae Body by Imported Fur. It is marked as a size 23, please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
This beautiful hat has a lovely organic shape that is slightly asymmetrical. The shape resembles a beret, but more structured. The front and side are adorned with sweeping plumage in black, green, and red. Colors that are perfect for winter and the holidays!
The entire exterior of the hat is wrapped in a delicate black mesh veil, which adds a classy and dressy vibe.
The hat has a 3 inch rise, and the inner circumference of the band measures 21.5 inches around.
There is some very slight wear among the black feathers, but overall this hat is in very good vintage condition. It is totally wearable for daily life, or would make an excellent accessory for a TV or film production! There are no holes in the mesh, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
