This piece of art was likely made sometime between the 1940s-1970s. It is constructed primarily from glass and brass, and hangs from a 2.5 inch chain.
The painting behind the glass features a lovely cottage farm couple in their orchard. The couple’s attire and the soft color palette give this piece a Victorian vibe. There is also a gold-flaked border that adds a bit of metallic shine!
The painting is encased in a thin brass circular frame that measures 9 inches across and has a simple paper backing. The signature of the artist is signed on the back side of the painting.
The frame has a small amount of patina that gives it some great vintage character. It would look great in a bedroom or dressing parlor, or it could be a wonderful housewarming gift!
This piece is in very good vintage condition, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
