1970s Southwestern Phoenix Turquoise Firebird Statement Necklace

This necklace was made during the 1970s from high quality costume metals and faux turquoise stones. This statement necklace is heavy, you can feel the quality in the weight of it.

There are some really great embossed details on the firebird pendant, and beautiful faux turquoise stones decorate the eyes and feathers of the bird. The blue stones and spherical beads contrast beautifully with the antique-finish silver metal, and really add to the sought-after Southwestern style!

The pendant measures 3 x 3.25 inches, and rests on a sturdy 20 inch chain. The chain secures in the back with a simple hook closure that can be adjusted to your desired length.

Please note that this piece has some patina to it. The original glue used to secure the stones has yellowed with age. But if you ask me, this adds to the vintage charm!
Overall this piece is in good vintage condition, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
