The artwork is from the 1920s by artist Marcel Le Boulte, and printed in the USA by St Lawrence Frame & Glass Co. This set was unearthed from a renowned art collector in Burlington, Vermont and includes 3 lithographs that rest against foam and are wrapped in protective plastic. Each print has the artist’s signature, and they measure 10 inches tall x 8 inches wide.
“Love’s Message”. A beautiful woman in a blue dress sits in a tree clutching a love letter.
“The Swing”. A lovely lady in an ethereal green dress daydreams on a swing.
“The Butterfly’’. Gorgeous young dame skips rope in a flowing yellow dress.
Each character and their dreamy floral backgrounds are encapsulated inside a decorative oval border. Each girl is revealing her breast, making these beautiful works of art very erotic and collectible.
Please note that these have been stored for almost 100 years, so there is some wear on the outer protective plastic. Most notably, there are 2 tears in the plastic of “Love’s Message”, but it has not affected the condition of the print itself.
Over all, this artwork is in very good vintage condition. They were stored in a smoke-free environment and would make a wonderful addition to your bed chambers, dressing room, or boutique!
